Anniversaries are smaller celebrations of your wedding. Usually done with close family and friends. This is where renewing of wedding vows would take place. Renewing of wedding vows is most commonly done on the 10th, 25th and 50th anniversary. Renewing your vows is simply adding more experience to your wedding vows, or writing a renewal vow based on your life experiences with your spouse.
Renewal Vow 1:
Wife: When we got married we did not know the true meaning of love.
Husband: We never really understood its power.
Wife: The only love we knew was that of fairytales.
Husband: We were still blind.
Wife: Over the years we truly learnt to love.
Husband: The process of learning has been an experience.
Wife: My choice was you since the day we met, it still is, and will forever be you, my true love.
Husband: As the days go by my love never stops growing.
Wife: The true meaning of love was blind at first, now the meaning of love is clear.
Husband: We will look back on this day and realize that we have learnt much more about love.
Renewal Vow 2:
Husband: Today I look back on our wedding day; I remember the happiness I felt when I saw you walking down the aisle. Most importantly the eternal happiness you have brought to me since that day.
Wife: You are my perfect match; you have never failed me nor disappointed me. You fulfill my expectations.
Husband: I have long dreamed of sharing every moment of my life with you, you have made me every dream come true.
Wife: Tomorrow another year of true happiness will start; I renew my promise to you, for it shall remain true.
Husband: I too renew my promise to you; it too shall remain the same.
Wife: I loved you when I said “I do”, I love you more now, and my love shall grow again tomorrow.
Husband: I too loved you at the moment of “I do”, my love for you has grown, and it shall grow tomorrow.
Renewal Vow 3:
Wife: As the years have past, you remain my true love.
Husband: The years have past; you are still my dream come true.
Wife: I have you to thank for always being my provider, my lover, my friend, and my true companion.
Husband: I thank you for being my caretaker, my support structure, and my true love.
Wife: It feels as though my promise to you was made yesterday.
Husband: Today I renew yesterday promise. I wish for many more exciting years with you.
Wife: I cherish you, and renew my promise to you.
Renewal Vow 4:
Wife: Today we stand before each other for a celebration.
Husband: We stand here in a celebration of our love.
Wife: We celebrate the love of our marriage which has stayed with us for fifty years.
Husband: We celebrate fifty years of happiness, and the decision to have married.
Wife: For fifty years we have supported each other, through good and bad. For fifty years we have loved and laughed together.
Husband: Today we recognize our love, and remember the times we have shared. We cherish the years that lie ahead, so that we may only love more.
Wife: Today we celebrate what we started fifty years ago, for tomorrow we start to grow closer once more.
